An international OSCOGEN workshop, organised in co-operation with the
Carinthian Energy Agency (KEA), has been held on 22-23 January 2003 in
St. Veit/Glan near Klagenfurt, Carinthia, Austria, in order to present
and discuss the methodology and tool(s) developed within the OSCOGEN project.
The 1.5-day event, which has been open both for interested non-academic
and academic participants, specifically addressed issues of interest to
CHP systems operators. About 30 participants have been able to get an
improved understanding of the role of uncertainties in CHP operation,
and to appreciate the economic advantages offered by using the developed
approach.
